We've had guests non-stop since we moved back to San Francisco, which I love!, but this weekend was nice because we had no definite plans and we just lounged around the city. I was feeling a little under the weather but I'm telling myself it's allergies:)
Omnivore had a book signing with Alice Waters this Saturday! I was starstruck.
It was beautiful in the city so we walked to Bi-Rite and then laid around Dolores Park for a bit with my brother and then headed home for dinner.

The Dog Sign is amazingly funny!
Is the book good? As in does it have easy recipes? I'll have to buy a recipe book soon and I'm looking for a good one for a beginner.
I love that dog sign too! it's the second one that I've spotted in the city. The book is a must! It's simple recipes so it would be good for beginners. It doesn't have real photographs, just sketches and I love to have photographs for cooking:)
