A day with my husband and Alice Waters

We've had guests non-stop since we moved back to San Francisco, which I love!, but this weekend was nice because we had no definite plans and we just lounged around the city. I was feeling a little under the weather but I'm telling myself it's allergies:)

Omnivore had a book signing with Alice Waters this Saturday! I was starstruck. 

It was beautiful in the city so we walked to Bi-Rite and then laid around Dolores Park for a bit with my brother and then headed home for dinner.

i love baking and I was going to visit Paris so I found this blog and have been following it ever since.

I saw that he was going to be in SF because it was the 40th anniversary of Chez Panisse.

This bookstore was too adorable.

Omnivore Bookstore.

I used to live blocks from here and it's down the street from my favorite brunch spot Chloe's.

Alice Waters is going to be there on the 19th! Who's in??

The whole bookstore was filled with anything that had to with food.

Vintage and new.

I always get nervous around anybody with an ounce of famousness (not a word. i know)

but I handled the situation well. and I took my brother with me.

I did stutter a little but I got my book signed and we beat the crowd and they had free chocolate.

It was to die for.

It's a food quarterly from David Chang.

This one is all about Ramen.

I've only glanced thru quickly but I know I'm going to love it.

Super simple and easy ingredients.
